Will I need a deposit?  All renters are required to have a $1000 HOLD on their card at the time of their departure. As long as the rental comes back in the same condition as it left in, we have the ability to release the hold immediately!

Mud & Hill Climbing? The renter is responsible for all damages during the rental period & cleaning of the machine before check in. Mud holes & Hill Climbing are very unpredictable & are ALWAYS the cause for most damage. It is not recommended that renters engage in any activity that falls under the “Abusive Operation”* definition that could leave the renter liable for damages.

*Abusive Operation Definition: Any operation that endangers the machine, occupants, surrounding property, or safety of others. Also includes any operation that stresses the mechanical components of the unit due to improper use, maneuvering, or otherwise any operation of the unit that can be considered unreasonable or dangerous. Please see below for additional charges.

Retrieval Fee: $150 

A retrieval fee will be immediately assessed to card on file if the rented machine is not returned to the Street Offroad Rental Building by the end of the rental period due to user damages, abandonment, or any other event that would prohibit the machine's ability to be driven back to the original departure location by the original renter.

 

Mud Retrieval Fee: $500

A mud retrieval fee will be immediately assessed to card on file if the rented machine is not returned to the Street Offroad Rental Building by the end of the rental period due to user damages, abandonment, or any other event in connection with abuse by irresponsibly operating the machine in muddy terrain that poses the danger of damaging the machine, endangering the occupants, and automatically voiding the "Accidental Damage Waiver" which reads: 

"2) outside of the designated riding area / trail"

"7) Driver may NOT use or permit the vehicle to be used: recklessly or while overloaded;"

that would prohibit the machine's ability to be driven back to the original departure location by the original renter OR having to have a 3rd party (ie: Street Offroad Rentals, William's Hill Pass staff, a towing company, etc.) to pull the machine out of the area of abuse or tow the machine to the original departure location.

Children?: There isn’t an age restriction rather a size requirement. We require that the child be 52" tall, must safely sit completely in the seat, hands on the handlebar, and feet on the floor. We do not allow car seats or booster seats.

Do you have to have a valid license to rent?  Yes, we can only rent to a valid licensed driver.

 

Can I drive the rentals on road?  These are designed for maximum fun off-road only! 

 

How old do you have to be to rent?  The min. age is 18, 25 if you are signing for a minor.

 

Helmets, Seat-belts, & Safety: Safety is key to having a great experience and we require that you ensure that every precaution in regards to safety is taken, including but not limited to seat-belts, helmet use, gloves, googles, & other protective equipment.

 

Is insurance included?  Street Offroad Rentals does not provide insurance.

 

What do I need to bring?  All we need is your license to fill out the required wavier. You can also fill out an online wavier that you will receive in your inbox after completing a booking!
